Founded by long-term collaborators, director William Williamson and producer Kirsty Lane, Type20 was born out of a shared belief in the cultural power of authentic storytelling and the positive impact documentary films can have in giving brands real-world purpose.

At Type20, we bring the depth and nuance of long-form documentary storytelling into engaging and impactful short and medium-form branded content. Our work has spanned both advertising and long-form documentary, earning recognition at BAFTA and Grierson for feature documentaries, as well as Cannes Lions, British Arrows, D&AD, Shots Awards, and more in the advertising space.
